Ee Thye Yin, PhD, a leading expert, researcher and consultant in the field of clotting assays and coagulation for over 50 years, is the owner and chief scientist for Heptest Laboratories, Inc.
Born in Shanghai, China, educated in Dublin, Ireland and a U.S. citizen for over 35 years, Dr. Yin has developed several successful, cutting edge coagulation assays. He was a primary researcher in the development of "mini-dose heparin therapy", which is used by physicians throughout the world.
Dr. Yin is also an author and co-author of numerous publications in scientific and professional journals, most dealing with the coagulation effects of heparin, Factor Xa, and anti-thrombin.
